Convenient location, close to the University Easter Bush site
Friendly and welcoming hostess who offered tea upon arrival and in the morning. Reasonably priced room with a comfortable bed and a desk and chair
No effort made to confirm the identity of guests or check IDs upon check-in. Unclean communal areas, including shoes scattered in the stairwell.

The hostess at 89 Clerk Street was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She made me a lovely cup of tea upon arrival and provided helpful recommendations for local restaurants. The room I stayed in had a comfortable bed and a desk and chair for convenience. The house was conveniently located near the University Easter Bush site where I had an interview. Additionally, the Wi-Fi at the house was excellent, allowing me to stay connected during my stay. I had a pleasant experience at 89 Clerk Street despite a couple of drawbacks.

I recently stayed at 89 Clerk Street for a few days while visiting Edinburgh. The lady who rented me the room was warm and welcoming, and her child was adorable. The bathroom was beautiful and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the desk and chair in my room, as well as the close proximity to the University Easter Bush site where I had an interview. The hostess even made me a lovely cup of tea upon my arrival and recommended some great local restaurants on the same street. The kindness and generosity shown to me made my stay truly special.
Strongly recommend this hotel.
